# Question or problem

> I always intended “tuist edit” command to edit tuist manifest files via Xcode using syntax check and autocompletion.
>
> This is not anymore start from tuist@4.204.0 and later.

# Expectation

> “tuist edit” command open Xcode project for tuist manifest files. Normal behaviour is that Xcode CMD+B build manifest files if they are correct or signal warning/errors if any.

# Context

- Tuist version: x.y.z

> Starting from tuist@4.204.0 ([PR #11933](https://github.com/tuist/tuist/pull/11933)) something is changed and now Xcode always build successfully even when manifest files (Project.swfit, Tuist.swift) are broken.

## Reproduction (mandatory for problems)
