Our first “Swift Stories” issue is out

At Tuist we love tinkering with new ideas and exploring the role they’d take in improving the DX of building and sharing apps.

With so much noise on the Internet, finding sources of inspiration for ideas gets tricky. Platforms are designed to show you content to optimize their revenue, and not necessarily to advance society or a particular ecosystem. Note that it doesn’t mean the content is not there—creativity is everywhere—it’s just harder to find.

We like getting lost on the Internet seeing what’s happening not just in the Swift ecosystem, but everywhere. Thanks to that we could spot projects like Mise, and bring them closer to the Swift ecosystem, or develop a feature like previews, mimicking similar solutions in the web ecosystem. All of these explorations and ideas exchanges happened in private, but just until today.

We just published the first issue of our new newsletter, “Swift Stories” that aims to discover and present those exciting new ideas and projects that we believe can have a positive and lasting impact on the Swift ecosystem. We’ll talk about Swift and also not about Swift, because the best ideas often happen through cross-pollination, and similar problems or challenges faced by the Swift ecosystem are addressed elsewhere.

You can check it out online, Swift Stories - Issue 1 / Welcome to Swift Stories, subscribe at https://tuist.dev, or if you prefer it, subscribe to it via RSS or Atom. We believe you should decide how you prefer to consume the content.

We’d love to get your feedback on this first newsletter and the content that you’d like to see. Also… you can take part in suggesting content. After every issued we’ll create a topic in the forum where you can post ideas. For example: Issue 2 - January 2024 - #2 by pepicrft

Thanks for inspiring us to make this happen :purple_heart:
