A week ago, we shared with you Drops, a tool that you can use to stay up to date with product updates, giving you the flexibility to decide what to be informed about and through which channel. There’s too much noise today, and we don’t want to contribute more to it.
While writing that update, I noticed we were missing an additional channel, email, which some of you might prefer over RSS or Atom subscription. So today I’m pleased to let you know that email subscriptions are available, and we extended them to other areas of Hive. Log in with your GitHub account and head to the notification preferences to configure your email notifications.
Give it a shot and let me know if you encounter any issues and/or have ideas around improving this. We want to make sure you have the tools you need to stay up to date with Tuist things.
A note on Hive 
Some of you might be wondering… what is Hive? It’s not a secret that LLMs and agents are changing how we build and ship software. At Tuist, we’ve gone from tracking things on GitHub Issues or Linear tasks to directly prompting a coding harness, and turning the request into a close-to-delivery or alignment artifact (i.e., a spec) that gets picked up by our release automations and released to you. Seeing these patterns made us think it’d be great if more and more of the idea/request-to-release was a public process, remotely automatable, and easy for our users to follow. More and more, we see a future where we can orchestrate some of the steps in the process with remote workflows, for example optimizing a slow query, or reproducing or fixing a bug in project generation, and we’d like you to witness that like us. Unfortunately, neither GitHub nor other tools we use provided the tool to build the open model we envisioned, so we went ahead and started building ours.
If you navigate Hive, you’ll notice we are designing it to be very Bee-inspired. Forage items represent workable pieces. Flights (will come soon) can take some of those forage items and work on them, for example, to reproduce an issue reported by a user. Once things are released, we share Drops that you can subscribe to.
