We just integrated this forum with ActivityPub, and created three actors which you can follow from platforms like Mastodon 
to get updates:
@[email protected]to receive updates on new announcement topics.@[email protected]to receive updates about contribution-related topics.@[email protected]to subscribe to new ideas being discussed in the forum.
The beauty of standards like ActivityPub and open platforms like Discourse is that we can enable integrations like this that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
Note that once you follow those accounts, you’ll only see future posts, which our forum instance will syndicate to your Mastodon instance.
