As you might know, we want to build the best mobile development platform that extends your toolchain with solutions to keep your teams productive and help them build the best apps.
We believe this is only possible by being more open, not less. Therefore, we’ve decided to make the server source code available under the FCL-1.0-MIT license.
We don’t expect you to contribute to the software, but you’ll be able to see, learn from, and follow the work we do for all of you—and even participate in discussions. The server remains part of our paid offering, meaning that if you’re interested in hosting the software yourself, you’ll need to obtain a paid permission from us.
This is an intermediate step toward embracing a more open model similar to those adopted by other players like GitLab and Penpot.
