Hey there!
I’m Jinuk Choi, currently an organizer at AsyncSwift - an Apple ecosystem community in Korea.
I saw your post and thought I might be able to help out!
Let me know what kind of support you’re looking for, and I’ll be glad to assist in any way I can.
Thanks!
Jinuk Choi
Hi @JJinuk
And welcome to the forum! The AsyncSwift community seems quite active. Would you folks be interested in Tuist giving a remote talk? We’d also like to support your upcoming events, so how do you think we could support you best?
Tuist is popular in South Korea–we have a large community there. We are now developing some paid services to sustain the development of the project (e.g. binary cache, selective testing), but we are a bit unsure about how to best sell services to companies in South Korea. Any support/pointers would be very appreciated.
Cheers!
It would be great if you could give a presentation at AsyncSwift. We have a meeting scheduled with our community members this week to discuss our direction for the first half of the year, so I’ll bring this up for discussion and let you know!
I’m not a professional salesperson, but when I was planning IT conferences in Korea and saw sales of other technology products such as figma or Datadog, they usually organized user groups that use the product, and the community members spread the adoption and use experience and targeted developers (e.g. senior or lead level) who have the decision-making power to adopt the technology. Also, if the product is better than the existing one, they don’t mind adopting it.
Thanks!
Hey @JJinuk
I’ll actually be in Seoul from 30th April until 3rd May, so would love to meet you for a coffee if you’re in town during those dates. We might also try to organize an event, I’ve had some initial conversations with Young Kim who helped us organize an event last year when we were in Seoul. If that’s something you could help with, that would be very much appreciated as well
That sounds great! Let us know once you have more details about the conference.
Hi @marekfort👋
Great, let’s meet for coffee if you’re free!
Here’s my LinkedIn profile, let me know if you’re coming.
I heard from Young Kim about this, and I think we can probably help with AsyncSwift on this as well, but I’ll talk to our members and let you know.
